Ing. Petra Chaloupková, PhD., dr.h.c
Petra Chaloupková, Ph.D., dr.h.c, is Vice-dean for International relations and academic staff at the Department of Economics and Development, Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, CZU Prague. She has more than 15 years of professional experience in the coordination of development projects funded by the Czech Development Agency (e.g., in Angola, Cambodia, Moldova, Ukraine, Vietnam) and management of European projects (e.g., EURASIA, EURASIA 2, ALFABET, ASK Asia, SIMPLE, PISAI, GLOFOR, Multiclass, ADVALUE). She is a team leader of the research group Consumers’ Behaviour and Capacity Building, focused on capacity building and strengthening the skills of people to respond to the main international challenges in agriculture, food safety, balanced management of the natural resources, rural development, and sustainable value chain management. She also works as a project manager at the Czech Evaluation Society.
