Doc. Ing. Martin Pělucha, Ph.D.
At IREAS, Martin Pělucha has long been involved in the evaluation of public spending programs for EU cohesion policy and rural development policy. He has been involved in evaluations since 2003, when he actively participated in the evaluation of the SAPARD pre-accession program. Since then, until the end of the second decade of the new millennium, he has coordinated or participated as an expert in more than 30 evaluations or expert analyzes / studies, mainly for the Czech Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Regional Development, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of the Environment, as well as for the European Commission. In 2018, he was the President of the Czech Evaluation Society. Martin Pělucha graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and in 2015 he was appointed associate professor based in the field of regional and administrative sciences at the Prague University of Economics and Business (formerly the University of Economics, Prague).
